ADMISSION, DISCHARGE, TRANSFER (ADT)
These types of health data messages include information pertaining to a patient’s admission, transfer, or discharge status from clinical care settings. For instance, let’s say that a patient who was present for a non-admitted visit is being admitted after an evaluation. This event changes a patient’s status from non-admitted to admit.
