The Problem that Got Them Thinking

The challenge faced by SightLine was that the company wanted a product for Field Services that they will sell to different clients on subscription basis. The latest deployment done was for an agency providing services to a government organization for child care, child welfare, youth services etc.

The organization did not have the visibility of how much time their agents are spending directly with the client, indirectly or working on non-client activities. They also wanted visibility of client activities like how much time was spent for each session, how many clients needed multiple sessions, which services the clients used the most. Previously the tracking was done manual and paper based activities.

The Value Delivered By Folio3 Digital Health

We did D365 Field Service implementation for the agency. We enabled the end users with a custom built mobile application with offline and multilingual support for logging their day to day activities. The mobile application was integrated with google firebase and the communication between firebase and D365 is done using ComAX for which custom services were written to support business processes.

The input from SightLine was mostly on the UI/UX and refining the business process, all the technical implementation was done by Folio3 team though for any solution we need to run it with the client once and get their approval on anything related to licensing.

The Impact

As per the initial response from the end users they found the application very user friendly and easy to use, the employees are adopting to it fairly easily and as the data is now properly captured it is resulting in better clarity and reporting and enabling the management to make better informed decisions on the areas they need to address.
