If you did not make it, here’s a rundown of the event’s top takeaways!
The Vibe of Vive’25
The energy was infectious from the moment you walked in. There was a real sense of excitement everywhere. Whether it was a keynote speaker on the main stage, a deep-dive session, or even just a casual chat in the hallway, the message was clear: healthcare technology is on the verge of something big.
Significant Highlights
AI in Healthcare
One of the hot topics at ViVE 2025 was AI, not just its potential anymore but how it’s being used today. Attendees saw firsthand how artificial intelligence is being implemented to tackle some of the industry’s biggest challenges, with a real emphasis on fitting seamlessly into the way clinicians work.Â
Companies like Enlitic and Aidoc demonstrated how AI transforms radiology, using automation to enhance diagnostics and reduce turnaround times. At the same time, Infermedica showcased AI-powered tools that assist clinicians with early diagnosis and triage.Â
The highlight was how AI tools automatically capture clinical notes during a consultation, freeing doctors to focus entirely on their patients, and how AI’s predictive capabilities are being used to flag patients at risk of readmission, enabling earlier interventions and better outcomes.Â
Other conversations focused on improving patient-provider communication, enhancing the care experience, and supporting treatment adherence.
What really stood out was the focus on “explainable AI” and delivering measurable results. Healthcare leaders are demanding AI systems that are transparent, understandable, and capable of delivering real-world impact, both clinically and financially.
Focus on Human-Centric Design
The healthcare industry is increasingly recognizing that technology needs to be designed with the people who will actually use it in mind. This means creating tools that are intuitive, accessible, and inclusive for both clinicians and patients.
This specific focus on the human element is driving the development of technologies that facilitate better communication and a better overall healthcare experience. Companies are making things like user-friendly interfaces, support for multiple languages, and accessibility features a priority, ensuring that technology empowers rather than frustrates.Â
At ViVE 2025, Imprivata displayed solutions rooted in clinician workflow understanding, emphasizing simplicity and usability in mobile technology deployment. Their Chief Nursing Informatics Officer highlighted the need for digital tools that fit naturally into a clinician’s day and not add to the burden.
New Ways to Deliver Quality Care
Another big highlight in ViVE 2025 was how digital technologies are enabling new models of care delivery, improving access, efficiency, and outcomes in healthcare. Some examples include remote patient monitoring, which allows doctors to track a patient’s health from afar, allowing them to intervene quickly if needed and reducing the need for as many in-person visits.
We’re also seeing a rise in virtual consultations and care, making healthcare more accessible and convenient for patients. And then, some clinics combine both in-person and virtual care, offering a more flexible and personalized approach.
Tegria shared how their digital health solutions support hybrid care environments, improve provider-patient interactions, and help organizations adapt to the changing expectations around accessibility and engagement in care delivery.Â
These new care models are not only helping to address challenges like staff shortages and an aging population but also helping us move towards a more proactive, preventative, and patient-centered approach.
Making Data Sharing Easier
Interoperability has been a major goal in the industry. At ViVE 2025, it was clear that we are finally making real progress, with increased adoption of standards like FHIR and some great examples of practical data-sharing solutions. This means we are moving beyond simply asking if we can share data to focusing on doing it responsibly and effectively.Â
The ability to share information in real time is crucial for things like coordinating patient care, managing the health of entire communities, and improving the overall quality of care. Once again, Tegria shared insights on how they are leveraging interoperability standards to streamline information exchange, breaking down organizational silos and helping health systems turn complex data into actionable insights at scale.
Role of CybersecurityÂ
At #ViVEvent, cybersecurity was a top priority, reflecting the healthcare industry’s increasing vulnerability to cyber threats. Companies like Censinet, Imprivata, and Phosphorus Cybersecurity demonstrated solutions designed to strengthen defenses and mitigate risks.Â
Censinet highlighted its AI-driven platform for managing cybersecurity risks and ensuring compliance, which is especially important as AI becomes more integrated into healthcare. On the other hand, Imprivata focused on secure access management, addressing the need for robust identity verification to protect sensitive patient data.Â
Provider and Payer Connect
ViVE 2025’s “Provider and Payer Connect” program was a hit! It facilitated strategic healthcare partnerships and emphasized “double opt-in” matchmaking, ensuring that all meetings were mutually wanted. This led to more productive conversations and effectively maximizing the value of each interaction.Â
A proprietary platform facilitated this process, allowing participants to proactively schedule meetings before the event for a streamlined networking process. ViVE 2025 saw an expansion of the program’s scale and scope. This resulted in a higher volume of participating providers and payers, increasing the number of 1:1 meetings.Â
This expansion broadened the network of potential collaborations and a wider range of valuable connections. Throughout ViVE 2025, particularly within the “Provider and Payer Connect” program, everyone was looking for a tangible return on investment (ROI) from digital health solutions. Participants sought solutions with proven outcomes, demonstrating a clear focus on practical applications and measurable results.Â
A Glimpse at Startups That Stood Out
The Startup Health Village at ViVE 2025 had a dynamic group of new companies driving innovation in digital health. These startups are developing solutions to address multiple challenges in virtual mental healthcare, digital therapeutics, and at-home clinical trials.
They showed an exceptional focus on working hand-in-hand with existing healthcare systems, their understanding of the regulatory requirements, and their commitment to making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and equitable.
NeuroFlow – Scalable, Personalized Mental Health Integration
Among the startups at ViVE 2025, NeuroFlow demonstrated how it is tackling one of healthcare’s most pressing gaps, i.e., mental health integration. Their AI-powered platform helps primary care providers monitor and support patients’ behavioral health alongside their physical health.Â
By collecting and analyzing patient-reported outcomes and behavioral data between visits, NeuroFlow enables personalized, proactive care. Clinicians can receive real-time alerts on patient progress, while patients benefit from continuous, customized mental health support without needing care from a separate expert.
This integration is valuable in addressing mental health stigma, improving care adherence, and reducing the burden on overwhelmed behavioral health specialists.
Infermedica – AI for Early Diagnosis and Smarter Triage
Another standout was Infermedica. They are using AI to streamline early diagnosis and patient triage. Their platform combines medical knowledge with machine learning to guide patients and healthcare providers through the diagnostic process. It can assess symptoms, suggest possible conditions, and also recommend next steps, helping organizations manage care more efficiently.Â
Infermedica’s tools are already being used by telemedicine platforms, insurance providers, and hospitals to reduce clinicians’ time on initial assessments, improve patient navigation, and increase diagnostic accuracy. The technology improves operational efficiency and enhances patient satisfaction by offering a faster, more guided care experience.
